AMY TOURLOUSSE was so excited about her debut album release concert. We were honoured to have shared this experience with her.
"Amy Tourlousse is the youngest most eclectic original singer/ songwriter and performer Grey Bruce has to offer right now." Mossy Gatherings
Amy Tourlousse is a talented, exciting and excited young singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She has rural roots & an urban empathy, and both show in the eclectic collection of inspirations that make up her original music. At 18 years of age, this clever performer has an adventurous spirit that makes her shows fun and friendly. Her insightful songs are inspired by real interactions and desires, and infused with whimsey, irony, and optimism. Amy's voice is sweet and strong, it demands your attention by its merit and it holds it by the energy she fuels it with. While often compared to others, her sound is her own, original, pure Tourlousse. Amy has played many local venues and recently opened for Roxanne Potvin at the Bleeding Carrot. Recently Amy released her debut CD, "If The Dreaming Stopped" at a concert hosted by Mossy Gatherings in Owen Sound. Other performances this year include playing Mudtown Music & Arts Festival 2013 and being a finalist at Summerfolk 2013's Youth Discoveries event where she made lasting impressions.
