DON CAMPBELL, a full-time Toronto-based musician, performing his original works at the River Cafe on Monday September 30th at 7:00PM.
Don is a passionate and engaging presence both on and off the stage. A highly skilled jazz musician and graduate of Humber College Jazz Guitar Program, he had the honour of receiving his diploma from the great Oscar Peterson.
Don is a prolific writer and arranger of his own original music and collaborates with others. From his home studio, he helped compose and arrange original music for ‘Shark City’ for the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival.
Don's guitar style envelopes rock, blues and jazz and reminds listeners of the greats of all three genres.
Don's recently self produced first album, FREEDOM, contains 9 original tributes to love and compassion for oneself and others. Don's message is to follow your heart, enjoy life to its fullest, find out who you are and share that person with the world. The simple things in life are all you really need as the journey suddenly becomes the destination.
For every copy of FREEDOM sold, Don contributes a portion to the Eating Disorders Foundation of Canada.
