Exploring the healing power of music and optimal mental health
With singer songwriter and mental health worker PIPER HAYES
EVERYONE. Especially those who are interested in using music to improve and inform their mental well-being. We encourage families, volunteers, professional health care workers, teens, and the elderly. This is for anyone who is looking to be part of a community and a safe space to talk about some of the harder things in life, and of course to listen to good music.

Mossy Gatherings is an Owen Sound based not-for-profit concert and education association providing a mutually beneficial connection between performers, venues, and audiences. Through the efforts of our wonderful team of volunteers, we book, promote and host musicians in supportive and intimate settings, providing unique musical experiences and fostering a sense of community. Significantly, every musical event is accompanied by a social justice or education initiative. We also provide conferences on music empowerment and healing, and workshops with musicians in local schools exploring such topics as inclusivity, gender equality, and kindness.
